EPILOGUE: Mary The First Surrogate Mother

EPILOGUE

DIVINE SURROGACY

Mary, The First Surrogate Mother, Is ‘Not Theologically Problematic’

No compliance within the context of a family definition of procreation. No coital union of male and female to form the baby “Jesus.”

In contradiction to a certain faith that God impregnated Mary by sex, (Belief Map). No Sexual Intercourse.

How about the story of Sarah and Hagar and that of Rachel and Bilhah? Were they not that Hagar and Bilhah were the surrogate mothers in behalf of Sarah and Rachel? Were they not firsts before Mary is the surrogate mother of Jesus?

How then could it be Mary, is the first surrogate mother when Hagar and Bilhah’s being replacement mothers already took place hundreds of years ahead before Mary’s?

A surrogate mother, according to, Merriam Webster Dictionary is: A woman who becomes pregnant usually, by artificial insemination, or surgical implantation, of a fertilized egg, for the purpose, of carrying the fetus to term for another woman.

Hagar, the maid of Sarah, and Bilhah, the maid of Rachel, were not surrogate mothers in the now definition of a surrogate mother. Yes, it is true that Hagar and Bilhah were women, who both agreed “to give birth to a baby on behalf of another woman” and the “on behalf of another woman” were “Sarah and Rachel.” The two maidservants, although, were mother substitutes, were not surrogate mothers in the present definition of a surrogate mother.

They are not. Because surrogate mothers in its now definition, is with a requirement which is absent from Hagar and Bilhah, that is, the “artificial insemination, or surgical implantation, of a fertilized egg, for the purpose of carrying the fetus to term for another woman.”

Obviously, surrogate mother, as is defined, now, implies absence of actual sexual intercourse, which was, not the case, of the above-mentioned, alleged surrogate mothers. Even if, when the word, “surrogate mother” was not coined, yet.

Proving the miraculous work of God, not a single drop of Mary’s blood, was in Jesus as man. No DNA nor Chromosomes of Mary is in the Son God. Hence, no sinful nature of man in Christ Jesus. Yet, remains whole Man, whole God.

Collins English Dictionary, says, “a surrogate mother is a woman who has agreed to give birth to a baby on behalf of another.”

Luke 1:26-38, says that “the angel Gabriel was sent from God” to announce to Mary that she was favored by God, that she will bring forth a Son and shall call His name Jesus. Mary said to the angel, how will this be, since, I am a virgin?

Gabriel’s announcement to Mary was about, “what will happen” NOT “what has happened.” “A future happening, not a past one. As it turns out, the Annunciation offers an invitation to Mary to give a very modern turn to a very pre-modern event: “verbal consent.”

Mary, the First Surrogate Mother, a virgin woman, has agreed to the announcement of angel Gabriel for her to give birth to a baby on behalf of another. Who is that another? “God.” Take note, the physician apostle Luke, writes that, “Gabriel was sent from God.” The Genealogy of Jesus through Mary starts from God: Luke 3:38, “the son of Enosh, the son Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. While the Genealogy of Jesus through Joseph starts with Abraham (Matthew 1:1), as the Son of Man.

Only, after Mary’s “verbal consent” of “Let It Be” or “be it unto me according to thy word” that the angel departed from her. And there was the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit.

by artificial insemination, or surgical implantation, of a fertilized egg, for the purpose, of carrying the fetus to term for another woman.

Hagar, the maid of Sarah, and Bilhah, the maid of Rachel and thereafter, the maid of Leah, were all, not surrogate mothers in the now definition of a surrogate mother. Yes, it is true that Hagar and Bilhah and Leah’s maid were women, who all agreed “to give birth to a baby on behalf of another woman” and the “on behalf of another woman” were “Sarah who became Sarai, Rachel and Leah.” All the maidservants, including that of

Obviously, surrogate mother, as is defined, now, implies absence of actual sexual intercourse, which was, not the case, of the above-mentioned, alleged surrogate mothers. Even if, when the word, “surrogate mother” was not coined, yet.

Either, traditional or gestational surrogacy, it was Not, but Mary is the Surrogate Mother of the Man Jesus. She is the chosen vessel favored by the Triune God: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit “given birth by a virgin,” coming from the house of David, as prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 and said in John 7:42, respectively.

No human egg cell or sperm cell to fertilize in IVF but simply the miraculous overshadowing of the Holy Spirit God.

Hence, when Jesus was placed in the womb of Mary, He was already fertilized in whole and totality, conceived by the Holy Spirit, no longer a zygote but just waiting for the proper time of delivery.

God’s kind of Divine Surrogacy!
